From the north on the Bruce Highway

  • Proceed along Woolcock Street and turn left at the signs to the City on highway 16.
  • This turn is at the intersection of Woolcock and Hugh Streets and is diagonally opposite the McDonalds store
  • After 3 kilometers turn left onto Heatley parade. The park is approx 500 meters along on the left.

From the south on the Bruce Highway

  • At the southern approach to the city turn right onto highway 16 (Abbott Street) It is signposted "City Centre/Port"
  • Follow this road through the City until about 2 kilometers after the city centre, turn right onto Heatley Parade. The park is approx. 500 meters along on the left.

From the west on the Flinders Highway

  • Follow Bowen Road towards the City onto Charters Towers Road
  • Shortly after passing the Ford dealership, Carmichael Ford, turn left towards Ingham on highway 14.
  • Follow Woolcock Street and at McDonalds, turn right towards the City on Highway 16 (Hugh Street.
  • After 3 kilometers turn left onto Heatley Parade.
  • The park is approx. 500 meters along on the left.
